Macro

I want to learn macro because it seems really fun and interesting, you can get really close and personal to your subject and see all the little details there is that you cant possibly see without squinting at it. I think my friends would like me to take a macro of an eye ball or something because sometimes you wonder how it looks like i mean at least you're making money right? who wouldn't want a macro?

Lenses and photography vocabulary

I would use telephoto lens to take pictures of birds on trees or any small object at a far distance.

I would use a prime lens to take photos of people dancing or weddings.

I would use a wide-angle lens to take photos of large landscapes.

Depth of field-the distance in front and beyond the subject that appears in focus.
light-areas where light appears
shadows-areas where light doesn't appear
diffusion-scattered light
exposure-the amount of light
aperture (f-stop)-a device that controls the amount of light admitted through an opening.
shutter speed-controls the amount of light
ISO-sensitivity to light
